Fender Kingman USA Select is the first acoustic guitar made by Fender in USA in over 20 years. It is a part of the USA series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Kingman USA Select starts off as a solid tonewood non-cutaway dreadnought model with a body made of solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. This flat-top is available in three-color sunburst option with gloss finish and aged white binding. The checkerboard rosette on this model is complemented with cream colored pickguard. The bridge is made of rosewood and features belly shape, bone string pins and saddle. The amplification on this Kingman is entrusted to the Fishman Sonitone preamp with on-board controls. Controls contain volume and tone regulators. The neck is made of maple and features vintage v contour. The neck ends with Stratocaster headstock with in-line tuning machines. The fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood and bound in the aged white to match the body binding. It is equipped with 20 frets, dot position inlays, 9" fingerboard radius and 1.70" wide bone nut. Other features include dual action truss rod and nickel hardware. The MSRP for Kingman USA Select is set at $2,450.
