Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster is built by the exact specs given by J Mascis. Squier nailed it this time with gorgeous Antique white finish and vintage P-90 pickups which deliver the massive tone of the regular humbuckers and noiseless and clear output of the single coils. A feast for eyes and a joy to pickup and play.
Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster comes with a solid basswood body and a bolt-on neck. Vintage adjust-o-matic bridge with a tremolo gives great playing possibilities and stays in tune whatever the player decides to throw at it. P-90 single coils in the bridge and neck positions represent a solution between humbuckers and classic single coil pickups. While being single coiled and noiseless, they also bring the beefy sound of the humbuckers. With a master volume and master tone things in control department are kept simple and straight forward. Three way toggle pickup switch fits perfectly with the pickup combo. C-shaped bolt on neck is made of a single piece of maple and gives that vintage feel of the Fender necks from the 1950s and 1960s. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 21 Jumbo fret and dot inlays. Other features include: chrome hardware, a pickguard, 9.50" fingerboard radius, 1.675" nut width and a 25-1/2" scale.
