Gibson Flying V Bass

Flying V Bass is a mean rocking machine made to shake the earth with it`s four strings and Thunderbird pickups. Radical shape which emerged back in 1958 in modernist series still brings the heat and excitement just the same as five decades ago. Today, the legendary V gets his four string brother in arms and it`s a real stunner. 20 frets, mighty pickups, iconic V shape and 30-1/2" scale say that this one is a force to be reckoned with. Despite it`s short scale, it is a fully professional instrument oriented towards the heavy touring superstars as well as common bass players used to six stringer scales.

Flying V Bass comes with a solid mahogany wrapped in the legendary shape with a flat top and glossy finish. It is combined with a set neck. hardtail bridge has four adjustable saddles and offers the ultimate tuning stability and command. Thunderbird pickups at the bridge and neck positions are up to any challenge the player can put before them, whether it is gut wrenching heavy rock and metal riffs, or acrobatic fusion licks and improvisation, these pickups got it covered. Master tone knob is accompanied by separate volume knobs.

Neck on this beast is a set-in mahogany neck with a slim profile. This contour makes sure the player has enough freedom, space and speed for anything and everything that he or she desires to play. Fingerboard is made of preciosa wood and sports 20 frets with dot inlays. Other features include: chrome hardware, 12" fingerboard radius, 30-1/2" scale length, 1.60" wide Corian nut, Grover tuners, a pickguard and a glossy nitrocellulose finish. But, from now on, bassists have a super cool option in the shape of Gibson Explorer Bass. This Explorer has a huge arsenal at it`s disposal with Thunderbird pickups, rock stable bridge, 22 frets and amazing Silverburst finish.

Explorer Bass comes with a solid mahogany body wrapped in the Explorer flat top shape and combined with a set neck. Bridge on this beast has four adjustable saddles and unparalleled tuning stability . Thunderbird pickups in bridge and neck positions have enough power for just about anything and enough subtlety to give the player the freedom to explore every music genre he or she desires. Separate volume knobs and a master one knob comprise the electronics department.

Explorer Bass has a set-in maple neck with an Explorer contour and deep cutaway. It has enough grip for heavy rhythm punches and enough fluency and speed for mind bending solos. Preciosa fingerboard features 22 frets and dot inlays. Other features include: 12" fingerboard radius, 34" scale, 1.60" nut width, Grover tuners, Corian nut and glossy nitrocellulose finish. Explorer Series expands to baritone territory with style and commanding presence, an unstoppable invasion. Fantastic looks, 24 frets, 28" scale and high gain pickups bring down-tuned barrage from hell and redefine the class of baritone guitars.

Gibson explorer Baritone has a solid mahogany body with a flat top and Silverburst paint scheme. Tune-o-matic bridge with a stoptail bar is second to none in terms of stability, reliability and tone. Main weapons on this Explorer are two high gain humbuckers placed in the bridge and neck positions. Their ground-pounding thunder roar is made to maim and kill. Master tone and separate volume controls are complemented with a traditional three-way toggle.
