Luna introduces the new Celtic line of acoustic-electric guitars. Two models with grand concert bodies and B-Band electronics.
Luna Guitars is one of the most interesting brands out there. Most certainly, they`re not among the big ones, but they`re the ones with a big idea and concept behind the catalog. Almost all of the Luna acoustics and electrics are inspired by nature and universal principles of harmony, such as zen and yin & yang. Over the years, Luna`s catalog has grew pretty much and has diversified largely. Now, it contains acoustic guitars, electric guitars, acoustic basses, electric basses and folk instruments. This time around, it`s the acoustic range that`s being updated. A brand new Celtic series is being introduced. It contains two models, Celtic Horse and Celtic Swan. Both of them are decorated with beautiful tribal inlays around the sound holes. Both the horse and swan are inspired by Celtic patterns and jewelry. Horse and Swan are also affordable guitars, being within the reach of the working and amateur musicians.
Luna Celtic Horse is the first of two guitars introduced in this article. It is a grand concert guitar with a standard-sized body made of rosewood with spruce sound board. On the top, it features the Celtic horse inlay after which it`s named, as well as a standard belly-contoured bridge. Luna Celtic Swan is the twin model of the above reviewed Celtic Horse model. Swan is a non-cutaway grand concert guitar with B-Band`s T-35 preamp installed on the side and Luna`s standard bracing pattern on the inside. Rosewood back and sides are topped with a spruce sound board with an inlay etched around the sound hole. Mahogany neck is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
