As a branch of John Hornby Skewes, Vintage Guitars is a brand of very affordable replicas of the world`s most famous guitars. Clones of Flying V, Les Paul, SG, Strat, Tele and other legends can be found within the relatively small Vintage Guitars catalog. V99 is the basic LP offering, aimed at the same demographic which buys the beginner Epiphone models (Les Paul Special and Les Paul 100). It comes with a flat body made of eastern poplar body/bolt-on maple neck construction. Creme binding (body and neck), pickup rings, and the elevated pickguard aim to give that famous "Standard" appeal to this super affordable six-string. Two-piece bridge unit, dual humbuckers (Wilkinson MWVC) with a standard controls unit, vintage tuners (Wilkinson WJ44) and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays follow the cue.
