Special is an intermediate tier in Schecter catalog, which gravitates towards the budget friendly zones of the catalog. On the market, this model is battling primarily against Epiphone`s LP models and Ibanez Artist series axes. Following the Gibson tradition, Solo 6 Special is equipped with a solid, dingle-cut body made completely of mahogany and it features a set in neck joint. TV Yellow, Two Tone Sunburst and See-Thru Cherry comprise the color palette for this model. All three are finished in high gloss and matched with chrome-plated hardware. Tune-o-matic bridge/stoptail bar combo is found in the bridge section and it`s fronted by a zebra humbucker in the bridge and fat single-coil in the neck position. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
