Schecter`s catalog is being thoroughly reconstructed for 2013. Besides the new series in the standard section of the catalog, Schecter also introduces new signature artists into the family. One of them is Kenny Hickey, guitarist/vocalist of Seventh Void and touring guitarist for Danzig. His signature model has a standard double-cut body contour with ultra access cutaway construction and carved top. Around the top Schecter installs several layers of black binding. Body of this six-stringed metal machine is made of top grade mahogany, which ensures bucket loads of sustain and growling low end. Gloss finish is applied over the only color option available, the Steele Green scheme. Bridge section is a simple one and it holds the perfect tuning and intonation together with Schecter`s locking tuners. Behind the tune-o-matic bridge strings are running through the body. Pickups are made by Seymour Duncan. Bridge section features the famous JB and the neck position is equipped with Schecter`s Sustainer. Master volume and master tone knobs are accompanied by a pair of mini switches for the Sustainer pickup. Three-piece mahogany neck is equipped with a sleek and fast contour in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Block inlays are painted in green to match the body. Hardware is plated in black chrome and the scale measures almost baritone 26-1/2 inches.
