In 2015, fans of Schecter`s most prominent and most popular electric guitar series, Hellraiser, will be treated to a completely new take on this iconic concept named Hellraiser Passive. With the stylistic hybrid of the classic Hellraiser and ATX Blackjack series, new Hellraiser Passive is aiming at the players who desired a Hellraiser, but wanted a strong set of metal-oriented passive pickups, instead of the mandatory EMGs. C-7 Passive Left Handed is, thus far, the most extreme lefty in the series lineup (mind you, every model in the lineup is ambidextrous, comes with a left-handed alternative along with the right). Solid and the double-cut mahogany body is offered only in Satin Black with pearloid binding and black chrome hardware. It is entirely made of mahogany (both the base and the carved top), discarding the quilt maple top present on the models with Black Cherry color option. Lone tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction is featured in the bridge section, while the pickups department boasts Schecter`s own hand-wound Brimstone Seven humbuckers. Wild, ferocious and brutally strong, these pickups are more than worthy of the Hellraiser badge. It requires the activation of the push-pull switch to split them into single coils to reach their softer and more sensitive side. Three-piece mahogany neck follows the Hellraiser`s all-mahogany-construction tradition and is accompanied by the standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid Gothic cross inlays. Schecter`s own tuners wrap the specs list of this long-scale (26-1/2") seven-string.
