John Petrucci`s signature series in Music Man catalog is one of the biggest signature lines in the catalog, offering a lineup of more than 10 currently active models. One of them is John Petrucci 6 BFR model. It comes with a choice of alder or mahogany base for the standard double-cut body. Top is made of flame maple and it features Bahama Blue Burst as it`s only color option. Entire body, including the back of the neck is finished in gloss. Hardware on this Bahama Blue six-stringer is plated in chrome. Tremolo bridge is a non-locking type and it is fronted with a pair of passive DiMarzio humbuckers. Neck is bolted to the body and it is made of maple. 24-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.

Having had the pleasure of owning many beautiful guitars over my 40 years of playing and collecting, this one beats them all hands down! In my opinion, this one is without an exception a perfect blend of balance, weight, tone and feel. Not one of the "great" guitars in my opinion could match this perfect blend. It was a real stretch for me financially at this time but it is worth many times more to me. After owning it for a year, I still grin every time I play it. If one could love a guitar, then I love this one. Thank you John Petrucci and MusicMan! Perfection personified! Expensive, but worth many times more to me. By far the finest guitar I have had the pleasure to owned.
