John Petrucci JPXI-6 is one of three JPX models in John`s signature series. It comes with an extended electronics department. Standard setup includes DiMarzio Crunch Lab in the bridge position and LiquiFire in the neck position. In addition to them, Music Man installs a piezo pickup under the bridge. Special mini-switch is installed to toggle the piezo pickup on or off. Bridge on this model is the standard non-locking tremolo with chrome plating and six steel saddles. Schaller tuners on the headstock come in the standard 4+2 pattern. Body is solid, double-cut and made of alder base with maple top. Black with glossy finish and chrome hardware is the only color option available for this model. Standard 24-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
