SLSMG Soloist w/ EMG is a special model from the MG series in Jackson catalog. It features the standard double-cut design with flat top and super deep cutaway. Body of this Soloist is made of mahogany. Wings of the body, to be precise, for the SLSMG Soloist w/ EMG has neck-through-body construction. The most prominent feature on this six-stringer is the presence of the EMG pickups on the body. 81 is in the bridge position and 85 in the neck. These pickups come with master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch. Bridge section behind the pickups is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Maple neck is topped with a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony, instead of series standard rosewood.
