Ibanez has introduced six new models into the metal-oriented Iron Label range. All six models come from the legendary S series and feature it`s hallmark design and elegant appearance combined with Iron Label`s uncompromising tone. SIX27FDBG is a solid, double-cut seven-stringer with body made of mahogany back with bubinga top. This carved-top seven-stringer features gold-plated hardware, abalone binding around the body and glossy finish over the Natural color scheme. Bridge on the top is the seven-saddled version of the classic Gibraltar Standard bridge found on the six-string version of this model. Series standard gold plating and top-load construction are featured on this bridge. In it`s front, Ibanez installs DiMarzio PAF humbuckers in both the bridge and neck positions. There is no middle position single coil installed on this model (as there is on the SIX70FDBG). Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch are featured in the controls section. Maple and bubinga neck is made of three pieces and is bolted to the body. 24-fret ebony fingerboard is installed on it`s top. 25-1/2" scale, 1.89" string nut and 15-3/4" fingerboard radius are also featured on this model.
