Jake Bowen is currently one of three guitar players in the band named Periphery. These guys are said to be the originators of an interesting fusion, progressive metal with djent influences. Two albums and two EPs were released thus far and Periphery is on the constant rise, as their ferocious and uncompromising sound is conquering the radio waves and internet. At the 2014 NAMM, Jake Bowen`s first signature Ibanez was revealed, thus inducting Jake into the Ibanez signature artist family. His JBM100 signature model is a solid and double-cut guitar with S series design, passive electronics and simple construction. Solid and double-cut body of this six-stringer is made of mahogany back with a carved maple top. Gold binding and satin finish are featured on this model. On the top, Lo-Pro Edge trem is installed. It`s paired with a locking nut and fronted with a pair of DiMarzio Titan humbuckers with gold-plated covers. Master volume and five-position blade switch are featured in the controls section. Neck is made of three pieces of maple and bubinga and is fit with a custom contour in the back. Bound ebony fingerboard on it`s top is fit with 24 jumbo frets, custom 12th fret inlay and 1.69" wide locking nut.
