Metallic Forest
The vintage/modern AX guitars are a part of the extensive Artist range; they represent its double-cut wing. AX line usually offers affordable, road-ready six-stringers with hot tone, simple construction, and fantastic playability. The new AX230T is one of two standard AX models introduced at 2018 NAMM Show. It is available in Metallic Forest (w/metallic finish, chrome-plated hardware, white binding on the neck, and black plastics). The main construction features include a solid AX body made of poplar (beveled top, double-cut construction, pickguard on top), a maple neck (AX profile, recessed four-bolt joint), a 22-fret fingerboard made of treated New Zealand pine (2.12" nut, 24.7" scale, block inlays, 12" radius), a vibrato bridge, Classic Elite humbuckers (three of them), and die-cast tuners.
