V Hawk Deluxe is a model from the highly acclaimed V hawk series and it is currently the third in command, ranking behind the super exclusive Elite JP and Elite models. Body of this Deluxe Fernandes is solid, made of mahogany and equipped with a set in neck joint. As all Deluxe models do, V Hawk features the EMG pickups in both the bridge and neck positions. 81 is featured in the bridge position and 85 in the neck. These two are the most popular and sought after pair of active humbuckers among metal players. Recently, the Blackouts are the only ones to threaten the supreme rule of the 81/85 and 81/60 combos. Mahogany neck is attached to the mahogany body of this six-string axe and it is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
