Monterey Deluxe Tremolo is a Floyd Rose variant of the Monterey Deluxe model. For the Monterey line, as well as for a majority of Fernandes catalog, the two-piece bridge section made up of the tune-o-matic bridge in the front and the stoptail bar in the back is the standard. This model, however, has a black Floyd Rose bridge with EMG pickups installed in it`s front. EMG 81 is in the bridge position, while the 60 is in the neck position. Master volume and master tone knobs are accompanied by a three-way toggle pickup switch. Body of this outstanding model is solid, single-cut and made of mahogany back with carved maple top. Neck is also made of mahogany and it features the 22-fret ebony fingerboard on it`s top.
