1970s were the decade when Telecaster started looking and sounding more like it`s main adversary in the field of single cut guitars, Gibson`s Les Paul. Double humbucker pickups configuration was introduced along with three-way toggle pickup switch and separate volume and tone knobs. Pickguard was modified, too. And this model was named Telecaster Deluxe. Road Worn '72 telecaster Deluxe is an aged adn worn tribute to that model. It comes with a single-cut body made of alder and it`s paired with a maple neck. On it`s top Fender installs a regular hardtail bridge with string-through construction. Pickups are Fender`s Wide Range active humbuckers with split volume and tone knobs. Maple neck has C contour and it`s topped with a 21-fret maple fingerboard.
