Nice finish,SD in the neck position,Tex Mex in the bridge, reverse control plate. This would have been a 10 but it took me about 4 1/2 hours of set up time. The fret edges were very rough and the truss rod had no tension on it at all. Fortunately I'v been doing my own set ups for twenty five years. Out of the box the high E string sounded like a sitar...so I also had to do a little nut work. The guitar is now a 10.I would now use it on a gig without a backup! Fantastic instrument but be prepared for a setup. Fantastic value for the money! It's my new #1. After the set up it plays and sound like a dream. I replaced the Tex Mex with a Harmonic Design bridge vintage plus.
