A bit more features for the price asked is what most musicians would like to see from Ibanez's S2170SE. Whether it's the quality of craftsmanship, or the price, musicians don't seem to like what Ibanez offered with S2170SE.

Some say that the average is golden, and maybe that is true for Ibanez's S2170SE as well. There are musicians who would like to see more features on S2170SE, but Ibanez felt that S2170SE provides enough features for a given price and the market that Ibanez aims for. Perhaps there are better equipped guitars then this one, but S2170SE will deliver what it's built for.

You could find a better fitted guitar, but S2170SE is ready to be played by any musician willing to take time and adjust it to his/her needs. Ibanez built a guitar that has nice finish but it lacks something that would make it feel even better. Guitar stays in tune reasonably well, if you don't force it too much, and the S2170SE's neck is playable.

Some might say that Ibanez didn't go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but S2170SE isn't that bad. It will serve you well most of times, though you should be wary and have backups in situations where you feel S2170SE might let you down, such as gigs and studio sessions.
