S6570Q is a 2017 model, introduced at the annual NAMM show in Anaheim, Ca. It was uneiled next to several more S series (mostly Prestige class) updates. Astonishing color palette, Prestige class tonewoods & hardware and top shelf electronics set this beauty apart from the competition. S6570Q starts off with a mahogany/quilt maple body and 5-piece maple/walnut neck. The two are connected through a modern four-bolt recessed joint. Neck sports fast and smooth Super Wizard profile in the back and a 24-fret marbled rosewood fingerboard on top. Jumbo-sized frets, offset dot inlays, 1.69" locking string nut and 16" radius are featured on the fingerboard. Main hardware and electronics appointments include a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge, DiMarzio pickups in HSH configuration and Gotoh tuners.
