Ibanez's AF100 is fairly good guitar. Not a brilliant one, but AF100 will serve you until you decide it's time to go for a bit more expensive guitar. You will not go wrong if you go ahead with AF100.

Some say that the average is golden, and maybe that is true for Ibanez's AF100 as well. There are musicians who would like to see more features on AF100, but Ibanez felt that AF100 provides enough features for a given price and the market that Ibanez aims for. Perhaps there are better equipped guitars then this one, but AF100 will deliver what it's built for.

AF100 guitar has a huge sound that sits shoulder to shoulder with sound produced by the guitars of the highest rank. It's easily controllable and even easier to shape to your own personal music style and style of playing. It's an easy task to adjust the hardware to make this guitar truly fit your playing needs. Ibanez has produced a guitar that is capable of achieving that huge and expensive sound which you can hear on records, played by world's top musicians.

Though it could be better, action of Ibanez's AF100 is not that bad at all. It may go out of tune when mistreated, but it's easily tuned back in no time. You won't be let down while playing AF100's neck. Guitar does feel a bit cheaper, but it will last you a long time, if you handle it with care that each instrument should be getting anyhow.

Some might say that Ibanez didn't go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but AF100 isn't that bad. It will serve you well most of times, though you should be wary and have backups in situations where you feel AF100 might let you down, such as gigs and studio sessions.
