Following review text is verbal representation of numerical rating information:
Evo Dragster is a guitar made by Dean, a manufacturer that brought us many good guitars. This one is no exception. It's a good instrument that will not let you down. A good balanced price gives this instrument a place in the future.
Dean went really far in carefully choosing Evo Dragster's features. There's little to be wished for, which makes Evo Dragster a full-featured guitar for a musician that plays a music style this instrument is primarily built for. If you decide to go for Dean's Evo Dragster you will be happy with its, safe to say - rich features. A job well-done by Evo Dragster.
If you try playing Evo Dragster after an average guitar, it becomes obvious that this Dean deserves to be proud of making it sound so beautifully. It delivers great tone when plugged in to most amps and, versatile as it is, it will allow you to find your own tone that you will be proud of as well. Dean's Evo Dragster is surely a world class sounding instrument.
Dean did a good job. Evo Dragster is built well, the finish feels just right, the hardware is solid. While playing for a longer periods of time you can expect Evo Dragster to stay in tune and you will be pleased while playing, because the neck is extremely comfortable. You might find that over time metal parts will oxidize a bit, but that's normal and nothing to worry about. Dean did a really good job with Evo Dragster guitar.
Playing live, Evo Dragster will perform well and will not let you down. It is fairly reliable instrument both in studio and on stage, and will be a long term companion, as it is built to last. Dean has made a solid instrument that you will be happy with, and can depend on right from the start. Needs no backup as it has proven to be built really well.

The sound is okay but serious guitarists will need to consider buying new pickups especially for heavy metal music, the look is nice and so are the tuners except for the 3rd string (G in standard) which always needs tuning.
The best thing about it I would say are the tuners because they generally keep the guitar tuned.
The guitar is durable, that is all the goodness there is in this thing. Pickups are not satisfying as well as the shape and playability. I encountered several flaws is the guitar, including a non responsive bridge pickup which cause turned out to be a flaw in the circuits and the bar holding the switch in place turned out to be broken. I can't say I would rely on this guitar when playing live since the sound isnt enough and the playability is awful.
I would say the guitar should be cheaper considering all the negative traits it holds. If stolen i would definetly NOT buy another, in fact the only reason I still have it is because I can't afford a good, satisfying quality guitar.
The worst part about this guitar is the fretboard which is the hardest one i have played in my 5 years of playing guitar, when playing the first frets your index will always grind on the plastic which holds the string and it becomes very annoying as well as painful in the end. The playability is just awful i cant remember how many times i messed up because of how hard the fretboard is (all my friends who play guitar have experienced the same thing with it). About the shape I find it like an ugly Les Paul, it's like taking a beautifully-shaped Les Paul and taking out all the beauty of the model.
