Jack Bruce Signature model is also produced in Korea, and this variant is more affordable than one made in Germany. Basic specs are the same, but the production costs are significantly lower for this version. This model was, along side other Warwick novelties, exhibited at the NAMM Show this January. Jack Bruce Signature kicks off as a solid bodied, double cutaway model with a body made of mahogany. The devil`s horns cutaway, slim waist and beveled edges point to the SG bass legacy. Jack Bruce Signature features no bindings or pickguards on the top. It is available in burgundy red stain and nirvana black, both with high gloss finish. The bridge is still a Warwick two-piece with top-load construction and chrome plating. Pickups and electronics are made by MEC, and they include: passive bridge humbucker, passive neck humbucker, volume with push/pull switch, balance, bass and treble. As opposed to passive pickups, the electronics are active. The neck is made of mahogany with neck-through-body construction. The fingerboard is made of tigerstripe ebony and is equipped with 24 frets and a brass nut. There are no position inlays on the fingerboard. Other features include: 34" scale, Warwick tuners and chrome hardware.
