Z series was created by Mike Tobias as an answer to the players who are looking for the ultimate performance machine in a visually stunning package, for players who want it all, the whole package. Z basses are available with four, five and six strings. Also, players can choose between fretted and fretless versions, as well as right, or left-hand orientation. KZ 5 Fretless is a right-handed bass with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany back and maple burl top. On that gorgeous burl top, MTD installs the standard five-saddle hardtail bridge and a pair of Bartolini soapbar pickups. Standard five-piece controls unit (master volume, pickup pan knob and three-band equalizer) is installed with them. 24-fret fingerboard can be made of rosewood, maple or ebony.
