MTD is a world-wide renown brand of electric string instruments. Primarily, they`re known for their solid-bodied bass guitars. Top tier of the catalog is the line of hand-made instruments, built personally by Michael Tobias, while the Kingston range represents the commercial side of the catalog. Z series is, traditionally, considered as a bridge between the two. It`s models feature many of the American series models, while still retaining the Kingston affordability. KZ 5 Left Handed is a part of it and it comes with a standard double-cut body made of mahogany back and maple burl top. Five-saddled bridge and a pair of Bartolini soapbars with the standard five-piece controls unit are featured on the top. Rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets completes the specs list.
