American Deluxe is an exclusive series in Fender`s catalog. It deals with both luxurious guitars and basses. In the bass department, all of the important models are represented. Excluding the special series and Custom Shop, American Deluxe series is the top of the line. American Deluxe Jazz Bass is a solid and double-cut bass with four-string construction and slightly vintage design reminiscent of the 1970s models. Body of this fantastic four-stringer is made of alder and it is paired with a maple neck. Standard features also include 34" scale, vintage tuning machines, bolt-on neck joint and chrome plated hardware. Four-saddled bridge is fronted with a pair of single-coiled (Jazz) pickups. Maple neck is fit with the modern C contour and it`s topped with 20-fret fingerboard (maple and rosewood options are available).
