PXS Series is one of three series in the catalog of the newly found Parallaxe Guitars. Other two are PXM and PXL. PXM and PXS deal with double-cut guitars, while the PXL is dedicated to single-cut models. Parallaxe Guitars is a brand completely devoted to the pursuit of the perfect metal and shred guitar and is being launched by Washburn Guitars in an attempt to conquer the metal guitar market. Models from this brand will compete in the most demanding segment of the market, the range between $750 and $1,250. This way, they`ll be able to offer high quality and still be affordable to common people. PXM series offers five models, PXS has six and PXL has only two guitars in the initial lineup. PXS10FR is one of six double-cuts from PXS series. It comes with a solid body made of mahogany back with quilt maple top. Top is carved and painted in Trans Red. It`s finished in gloss and matched with black hardware. Floyd Rose bridge is fronted by a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers. TB6 is in the bridge and Jazz is in the neck position. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Grover tuners, 25-1/2" scale and Buzz Feiten tuning system complete the specs list.
