PXM10FR is a part of the PXM series in the catalog of the newly established Parallaxe Guitars brand. This brand is created by Washburn with the intention of taking a bigger part on the metal guitar scene. Washburn`s metal-oriented models were huge a while ago, but have been pushed aside by countless other brands and models. Parallaxe is a comeback brand and it`s initial lineup consists of three series of affordable guitars. All Parallaxe models will have price tags from $750 to $1300. PXM, PXL and PXS series make up the lineup with a total of 13 models. PXM10FR is one of them and it belongs to the PXM series. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. Trasnparent Blue color scheme is finished in matte and it`s matched with standard set of black-painted hardware. Floyd Rose bridge is paired with a locking nut and fronted by a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers. TB-6 is in the bridge and Jazz is in the neck position. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Super jumbo frets, locking nut and custom Parallaxe inlay at the 12th fret complete the fingerboard. 25-1/2" scale, Grover tuners and Buzz Feiten tuning system complete this six-string shredder.
