Parallaxe Guitars is a completely new brand of electric guitars launched by Washburn. The focus of this new sub-brand will be the electric guitars made for metal and shredding. The initial lineup of the Parallaxe Guitars will have three series with a total of thirteen models. All of them will compete in the tightest range of the market, from $750 to $1,300. All brands with metal oriented catalog sections and series are putting out their strongest models in this segment, which offers awesome specs, yet is available to a common man. Parallaxe and it`s models will make their debut at 2013 Frankfurt Musikmesse. PXS10EC is the basic model of the PXS series. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of alder. It has a carved top and features matte finish over the black paint. Hardware on this model is also painted black. Tune-o-matic bridge is alone in the bridge section. In it`s front, Parallaxe installs a pair of active EMG humbuckers. 81 is in the bridge and 85 in the neck position. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Grover tuners on the headstock, 25-1/2" scale and Buzz Feiten tuning system wrap it up for this model.
