T5z series was based on the popular T5, Taylor`s premier line of electro-acoustic guitars. Its models feature smaller bodies, 12" neck radii, jumbo-sized frets, and 1-11/16" string nuts. T5z models also sport the range-wide hybrid electronics unit made up of an acoustic body sensor, a bridge humbucker, and a concealed neck humbucker. T5z Pro is among the expensive members of the T5z line. It offers a solid flame maple top, 14th fret neck joint (T5 and T3 models have them, too), the standard electronics unit, and premium hardware. Taylor sells this one in Borrego Red, Pacific Blue, Gaslamp Black, and Tobacco Sunburst. Other notable features include a solid sapele neck, 21-fret fingerboard made of ebony, fixed acoustic bridge, and Taylor`s gold-plated tuners.
