Three series make up Taylor`s electric range - T5, T3, and T5z. Among them, T5z is the closest in feel and playability to a solid body guitar. Distinctive features of a T5z model include a small body, jumbo-sized frets, and 12" radius. However, T5z models share 14th fret neck joint, fixed acoustic bridge and hybrid electronics with the rest of the range. T5z Custom is the pinnacle of the T5z series` lineup. It comes with a solid and figured koa top, series-standard neck construction, hybrid electronics unit with tone controls and a 5-way switch, and premium hardware. Shaded Edgeburst, with gloss finish and gold-plated hardware, it the only available color option. Other notable features include a solid sapele neck, 21-fret ebony fingerboard w/spires inlays, a fixed bridge, and Taylor tuners.
