Strandberg`s Boden models were, by and large, used by metal and metal fusion players, but now there`s the sleek and futuristic Boden Metal section dedicated solely to players who like their metal extra heavy and dark. It has three models: Boden Metal 6, Boden Metal 7, and Boden Metal 8. Boden Metal 6 is the six-string option; it features a chambered body, bolt-on neck, Strandberg hardware, and Fishman electronics. Black Pearl and White Pearl options are available (both with gloss finish). Main construction features include all-basswood body (flat top, contoured back), 5-piece maple/carbon fiber neck (Endurneck profile) and ebony fingerboard (fanned frets, offset dot inlays, compound scale, 20" radius). Other notable features include a Strandberg Series 5 fixed bridge and Fishman`s Fluence Modern pickups.
