Sterling by Music Man side of the range takes care of the budget-friendly side of the series. JP70 is a seven-stringed guitar, based on John`s Music Man JP7. Main features include a solid and double-cut body (basswood construction, characteristic top scoop), bolt-on neck construction, passive electronics, and stock hardware. Trans Purple Burst, Trans Green Burst, and Mystic Dream color options are available. Other notable features include a hard maple neck (standard profile, 5-bolt joint), rosewood fingerboard (medium jumbo frets, bullet inlays, 16" radius), modern tremolo bridge, and locking tuning machines.
