Vintage Modified series exists in both the Squier and Fender catalogs. Fender`s side of the series offers high-end models with supreme tonewoods and hardware appointments, while the Squier side tends to the other side offering the budget-friendly variants. In Squier`s price range it is hard to find quality guitars, but Squier makes it look effortless with this and many other series. Vintage Modified Stratocaster HSS comes with a solid, double-cut body made of red Indian cedar. It is flat on top and equipped with a standard four-bolt neck joint. Regular two-point synchronized trem bridge is fronted by a humbucker (bridge) and two single coils. Standard controls unit is featured with them. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with standard 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
