Vintage Hot Rod models are made in tribute to the legendary guitars from the decades long gone, but they feature a bit hotter tone than the originals had. Vintage Hot Rod '62 Stratocaster comes with three American vintage Strat single coil pickups placed in S/S/S pattern. Middle pickup is equipped with reverse winding and phase for a hotter tone. Master volume, two tone knobs and five-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Behind them Fender installs a vintage synchronized tremolo bridge with string-through construction. Bridge is plated in chrome and the rest of the hardware is also equipped with the same type of plating. Neck on this model is equipped with a regular C contour and a bolt-on joint. 21-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
