Tempest series is one of countless series inspired by the legendary and still hugely popular Les Paul guitar from Gibson. What Schecter did was they took the classic LP as an inspiration, shaped the waist line and bottom curve to their own liking and made the second cutaway. All Tempest models are loaded with Schecter-characteristic hardware and decoration appointments. Body of Tempest Custom is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany back with maple top. Black is the only color option available for this model and it features plain maple top with gloss finish and gold-plated hardware. Standard tune-o-matic/stoptail bridge combo is fronted by a pair of Seymour Duncan custom pickups. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it features a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on top.
