Not as much as Les Paul and Stratocaster, but SG has numerous tribute series around the industry, as well. One of them is S-1 series made by Schecter Guitar Research. Three models comprise it and S-1 Custom is it`s flagship model. It comes with an elegant double-cut body with a symmetrical cutaway. Body is flat on top and features a set in neck joint. Mahogany body on this model is topped with a high-grade flamed maple top. Top is made of two pieces of wood and has beveled edges. Dark Vintage Sunburst and Trans Amber are color schemes assigned to this model. Active humbuckers are installed in front of the classic two-piece bridge unit. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
