Porl Thompson is one of many signature artists in Schecter family and his signature model is among the most interesting ones. It comes with a semi-hollow double-cut body made of maple. Back, sides and top are made of it. Top of the body is painted with a Kev Grey Original Tattoo Graphic on white background. Rest of the body is also painted in white. Headstock features white paint on the top and six chrome-plated Grover tuners installed in the standard 3+3 pattern. Bridge section is a vintage-styled three-piece. It has a tune-o-matic bridge, Bigsby vibrato bar and trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Open coil humbuckers are installed in the front. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.

24 3/4 scale neck semi hollow body that is based on the Gibson ES-335 . Fitted with Duncan Designed Humbuckers ( SD 59 variants ) with coil tap for both pickups . Special paint and ebony fret board . Bigsby B70 vibrato , Grover tuners . When I recieved this guitar and cracked it out the box I was just blown away . It looks much much better in person . Very detailed and the quality is spot on. Right out the box all it needed was to be tuned . The setup was superb . Soundwise I was expecting okay with the Duncan Designed pickups . They will not need to be replaced . They sound excellent . With coil tap the tone is just amazingly similar to a Filtertron through my HotRod DeVille 212 . With a non bias opinion this guitar certainly deserves a 10. For the value it's great . If anything I wished it came with real Duncan 59s however the Duncan Designs are just as well which was surprising . When you see the price ( $899USD) it seems high for a Schecter Corsair but when you see the attention to detail that is involved in this thing it will justify the price . The design appears to be hand painted and sealed and the the truss rod cover is hand engraved ( you can see the light shavings ) . If this guitar was ever stolen or destroyed I'd certianly find another one . Staggering . Between the craftsmanship and playability to the pricepoint it is just amazing . I never expected this kind of quality from a Korean made guitar or from Schecter in general . I was so impressed with the quality of the Schecter I bought an Ultracure shortly after .

My guitar has the default frets, strings, everything. Still sounds great and handles well. Exceptionally well. I won't lie... i bought this thing on impusle which probably wasnt a good idea, but after i plugged in it for the first time, I quickly changed my mind. Guitar was a lil expensive, but money cant compare this feeling I get when I play this bad boy. Love this guitar, hands down. Yea i spent 900 bucks on it but still, very worth it.
