Corsair series is Schecter`s spin on the age-old semi-hollow body story. Schecter`s Corsair semi-hollows take on the vintage-styled design reminiscent of the original Gibson and Epiphone semis, but with modern construction and pickups, have a unique voice, suitable for a somewhat heavier tone. Jazz, blues and rock are still primary styles for Corsair series, though they`re built to handle rock and hard rock styles with ease. Corsair is semi-hollow, double-cut guitar made of maple. Carved top, creme binding, bound "f" holes and chrome hardware decorate the archtop body. Standard tune-o-matic/stoptail bar combo is featured in the bridge section. Two active humbuckers are installed in the front. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a standard 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
