Corsair series is dedicated to the production of semi-hollow electric guitars, reminiscent of Gibson`s ES concept. Corsair models predominantly feature maple bodies, double-cutaways and vintage styling. Vintage styling includes binding, elevated pickguards, "f" holes and many more. For 2013 Schecter updates the Corsair series with a brand new Corsair ABSN. This sweet little rocker is not so little, it features a full-sized semi-hollow body made of maple in it`s entirety. Both the back and top panels are bound in creme binding and the top is carved with a pair of "f" holes. Also, entire body is finished in satin and black is the only color scheme available. It is countered with beautiful gold-plated hardware. Bridge section on this one is a traditional one, as it combines the tune-o-matic bridge with the stoptail bar in the back. Pickups are Duncan Designed HB-101. They both feature their own volume and tone knobs and the pickup switch is a three-way toggle. Tone knobs have push/pull switches for coil splitting. Neck is made of three pieces of mahogany, it`s set in and equipped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Grover tuners and 24-3/4" scale complete the specs list.
