Jake Pitts of the Black Veil Brides fame is a long-time Schecter signature artist. His line has thus far consisted of several C-1 double-cut models. But,for 2017, jake and Schecter have come up with an axe based on the badass E-1. Jake Pitts E-1 FR S is nothing short of amazing. It is an Explorer-like six-stringer, with long 25-1/2" scale, hybrid electronics, modern and dark styling and 24-fret fingerboard. Mahogany body, bound flamed maple top (two-piece top), three-piece mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard are a classic combination, a proven recipe for a proper metal tone. Additionally, Jake Pitts E-1 rocks a 1500 series Floyd Rose bridge, EMG 81 in the bridge, Schecter Sustainiac in the neck and a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners.
