Synyster Custom S Left Handed for 2014 comes with a solid and double-cut body made entirely of mahogany. The standard Avenger-shaped body is flat on the top and contoured in the back. Also, it features the super deep "Ultra Access" cutaway and a set in neck joint. As opposed to the right-handed version, left-handed Synyster Gates Custom S is available in two color options, instead of three. Black w/Silver Pin Stripes and Black w/Gold Pin Stripes variants are offered. The one with silver pin stripes has black hardware, while the other one rocks the elegant gold-plated hardware. Bridge section is fit with the original Floyd Rose trem bridge for maximum performance. On the opposite end of the 25-1/2" long scale, Schecter installs the three-screw locking string nut. Pickups combo on this one is passive (series standard feature) and is made up of a Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader in the bridge and a Schecter Sustainiac in the neck. Apart from the standard vol/tone/three-way toggle switch set of controls, Synyster Gates Custom S models come with two additional mini-switches. One turns the Sustainiac pickup on and off, while the other is used to choose the mode in which it works. Mahogany neck has the slim and fast "Thin C" contour in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. Grover tuners wrap up the specs list.
