Hellraiser has always been out there on the frontier with it`s models breaking the boundaries and setting new standards. This time around, Schecter is introducing a standard nine-string model for 2014. It comes with a solid and double-cut body with a carved top, 28" scale, set in neck with ultra access and the standard 24-fret fingerboard. It`s name is Hellraiser C-9. New king of the standard Hellraiser range comes with a body made of standard materials, mahogany in the back and quilted maple on the top. Quilt maple top is bound in abalone binding and features the iconic Hellraiser shape. there`s only one color scheme available for this model, it is Crimson Red Burst with gloss finish and black chrome hardware. EMG`s 909 active humbuckers are based on the classic 81 (which served as the base for 707 and 808 sets, as well). Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch are featured in the controls section. Mahogany neck is a standard three-piece with thin C contour in the back. Ultra access cutaway enables easy access to the 24th fret and more comfort for lead guitarists. 24-fret fingerboard on the top is made of rosewood, series standard material. It features extra jumbo frets abalone Gothic cross inlays and 2-1/2" wide TUSQ nut. The MSRP is set at $1,449.00.
