Jeff Loomis is one of the most prominent signature artists in Schecter`s catalog. his series is based and built around seven-stringed guitars. there are six-stringers, but Jeff personally predominantly plays seven stringed guitars. The FR model is the same as the NT, with only major difference being the Floyd Rose bridge, instead of the classic tune-o-matic. Original Floyd Rose double-locking trem is installed on this model. In it`s front, Schecter installs a pair of EMG 707 humbuckers. These are active and represent 81 and 85`s seven-string variants. Body of Jeff Loomis FR model is solid, double-cut and made entirely of ash. It has carved top and set in neck joint. It is paired with a maple neck. On it`s top, there`s a 24-fret maple fingerboard.
