Schecter`s new Damien Platinum series is full of pure metal delight. It`s made for the hard working and and playing metalheads who do not have a pile of money to spend on a guitar, but still want the top quality. Damien Platinum 8 is the ultimate model of the series, as it comes with eight strings and super strong EMG 808 set of pickups. Controls for the pickups consist of master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Bridge is Schecter`s CTM-8 with string-through construction. Body of this Damien Platinum is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany. It`s bound in platinum binding and carved on the top. Three-piece maple neck is topped with a regular 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
