Damien Elite is a fairly new line of metal-oriented electric guitars. It takes the Damien range a step beyond the lower intermediate class. Damien Elite 8 LH is a double-cut C-8 guitar with a carved top and ultra access cutaway. The body is made entirely of mahogany, while the set in neck is made of maple. On top of the C-contoured neck, Schecter installs a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with Platinum Bat inlays and a 2.125" wide TUSQ nut. Needless to say, Satin Black is the only option in the color palette. Gargantuan EMG 808 humbuckers are featured in the pickups department, bringing a huge and immensely thick wall of sound. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch keep it simple in the controls unit. Hipshot string-through bridge and Grover tuners take care of the tuning and intonation issues with an unexpected ease.
