Chris Howorth of In This Moment is among the later additions to the signature series as part of an effort to expand the range and include artists from the younger, popular bands. 2015 expansion of Chris`s series brings a refreshed variant of his old V-7. This 2015 version comes with a pretty much standard signature series set of features and specs. For example, all-mahogany base which is shared among several signatures introduced recently translates into a flat-top V body and a set-in three-piece neck with thin C profile. Metallic Black is the only color available for this year`s Chris Howorth signature (the original had red paint with black binding). Gold-plated hardware and creme binding provide a fantastic contrast, giving this mean seven-string a note of elegance. Lone tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction is featured on top. Along with it, bridge-positioned EMG 707 with a master volume knob in the controls unit is installed. C-contoured mahogany neck features glossy finish in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. The menacing Mother of Pearl Spider inlay sits alone at the 12th fret of the fingerboard, while a set of seven gold-plated tuners graces the classic Schecter headstock.
