Silhouette Special HSS comes with a classic Silhouette double-cut body reminiscent of the legendary Stratocaster guitar. It also features flat top, contoured back and bolt-on neck joint. Special HSS Silhouette is a six-string axe made primarily for rock, hard rock and blues styles. It can be used for some metal sub-genres, excluding extreme metal. Body of this model is made of alder. It is finished in polyester gloss and equipped with a set of chrome-plated hardware. Bridge section on Silhouette Special HSS is equipped with a standard non-locking tremolo bridge. In it`s front, Music Man installs a set of three passive DiMarzio pickups. Bridge position has a humbucker, while the middle and neck are reserved for single-coils. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 22-fret maple fingerboard.
