AZ range is a brand new addition to Ibanez`s already huge electric guitar roster. The main theme of the new range is the classic Strat/Superstrat. Ibanez doesn`t try to hide the obvious, instead, it gives an admirable effort to reinvent the legendary concept. Of course, AZ is still an Ibanez series, with Ibanez styling and tone dominating the landscape. AZ2204 Prestige is one of three Prestige level models introduced for this year`s NAMM (three more models make up the Premium line). It is a flat-top axe with the classic double-cut design, 25.5" scale, passive electronics, a bolt-on neck, and tremolo bridge. Main features include an alder body, a roasted maple neck 22-fret maple fingerboard, a synchronized trem bridge, Seymour Duncan`s majestic Hyperion pickups, and locking Gotoh tuners.
