kson`s offensive on the lower intermediate and intermediate sections of the market starts off with a strong March charge, as many of the X and Pro Series models start shipping during the first month of spring. Among them, the seven-stringed SLATHX-M 3-7 Soloist is found. It is an X series model with a small, vivacious color palette (Slime Green and Snow White options comprise it), standard X series construction and Seymour Duncan pickups. The body of this affordable seven-string is solid, contoured and made of basswood (only the wings are made of it) and maple (technically, it is the neck which runs through the center of the body). Seven-saddled hardtail bridge is installed on the top, and it features the series standard black plating (X range comes almost exclusively with black hardware). Seymour Duncan`s Nazgul (bridge) and Sentient (neck) drive the pickups department with an unprecedented amount of fierceness (also, they`ve become quite popular this year, with several other major brands showcasing them on their own intermediate class guitars). Maple neck is, of course, fit with the Speed profile in the back, and a 24-fret maple fingerboard on the top (thus the letter M in the name of this seven-string). Piranha inlays in black variant, regular string nut and seven die-cast tuners are also featured on SLATHX-M 3-7 Soloist.
